Keep the Frizz Out of Your Hair
For anybody with frizzy hair, a drop of moisture in the air can ruin your whole day. It can sometimes feel as though you are in a constant battle with your own hair! That’s the bad news; the good news is that every year, there are more and more products on the market that can help repair your frizzy hair and frazzled nerves. But, before you head to your local salon, start by following a few simple steps that may help alleviate the problem naturally. First of all, your hair stylist is right. A good haircut can help heal, repair and hide all kinds of problems.
Getting your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks helps minimize split ends, which can cause frizzy hair by splitting all the way up the shaft. Use a nozzle on your hair dryer, and direct the heat down your hair section by section, and try finishing off on the cool setting, which has been shown to help tame your mane as well. If you let your hair dry naturally, avoid putting your fingers through it until it is completely dry.
Try washing your hair every other day instead of every day. Most shampoos are drying agents and can cause even worse frizzy hair than you already have, not to mention the damage blow-drying does to it. Use a deep conditioner once a week to help restore that healthy shine. If all that doesn’t work, professional hair care products may be called for.
There are a lot of anti-frizz serums out there right now, so you may need to try a few, before you find the one that works best for you. Frizzy hair can make a beautiful women feel like an uncaged animal, but there are a lot of different things you can try to soothe the savage beast. After all ladies, just because we want to look sweet and innocent doesn’t mean we have to give up our taste for the wild side of life.
